Scientific Initiation

The Scientific Initiation fellowship is bound to prepare undergraduate students who intend to develop research activities and, in the future, achieve the Graduation Program. The fellowship aims to encourage the practice of researchand to create human resources for future works in the Semiology (Oral Medicine) and Oral Pathology areas. The Scientific Initiation is open to students from all years in the Undergraduation Course and the tutoring is provided by researchers, with PhD titles, who seek to encourage students to develop the scientific mind, besides teaching techniques and research methods. The acceptance of students is not linked to the granting of scholarships, which must be requested to the Research Fomentation Organizations, mainly with FAPESP or the PIBIB/CNPq Program.


Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Postdoctoral Fellowship, along with the Graduation Program in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology, consists of an academic and scientific internship, lasting 2-4 years, guided by a tutor of the Program with proven experience. This fellowship is given to candidates with a PhD title, and it is characterized by research activities, seeking excellence in the knowledge areas of Semiology and Oral Pathology. The acceptance of students is not linked to the granting of scholarships, which must be requested to the Research Fomentation Organizations.


Fellowship for Newly-Graduated Dentists

The fellowship offered by the Graduation Program in Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology to newly graduated dentists aims to consolidate knowledge in the Semiology (Oral Medicine) and Oral Pathology areas and to propitiate scientific conviviality, strengthening their interest in Graduation studies. The fellowship provides no remuneration, is not a prerequisite and does not grant any openings to one of the Graduation Courses. The fellowship is tutored by a professor of the Program with proven experience.


Graduation for Foreigners

It is of interest of the Graduation Program to support the actions from the Brazilian government at the qualification of professors and researchers from countries with which Brazil keeps Cultural and/or Educational Cooperation Agreements. Foreign candidates living in Brazil will undergo the same Selection Process as the Brazilian candidates, while the ones living abroad will be evaluated exclusively by Curriculum vitae, School History and Recommendation Letter(s) Analysis, which must be forwarded at the moment of the New Student Selection. Foreign students approved at the Selection Process may request the Coordination of Training of Higher Education Graduate Foundation (CAPES) for a Scholarship Grant for Fulltime Postgraduate Courses (PEC-PG).
