Graduação em Odontologia pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1990), mestrado em Biologia Patologia Buco-Dental pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1993) e doutorado em Biologia Patologia Buco-Dental pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1996). Pós-doutorado (1998-2000) na Dental School University of Maryland USA. Livre-docênica (2001) e Titular (2006).
