The Piracicaba Dental School-UNICAMP has the motto: "Mind, Hand and Heart". We offer an Undergraduate Course in Dentistry incorporating those principles in education and training so that the dental surgeon receives technical training to the most recent scientific knowledge, together with an understanding of human values. Historically, this curriculum has been rigorously developed including seminars beginning in the late 70's. The Faculty of Dentistry has evolved a unique character setting a benchmark for other dental schools. Both nationally and internationally, the faculty is highly respected for the quality of teaching.

After 53 years the faculty has achieved maturity as an institution, setting standards of excellence for the teaching of dentistry in Brazil.
